Biography

Lauren Stephenson was one of the top-10 national recruits as she graduated high school in Lexington, SC, and earned the AJGA’s first-team Rolex All-American status. As a junior in high school, she won the AJGA Junior Girls Championship. She began her collegiate career at Clemson University, where she became the first Clemson female golfer to play in the NCAA Tournament. She was then named to the All-Region team after finishing fifth during the Shoal Creek Regional. After her freshman year at Clemson, she transferred to University of Alabama where she claimed her place as one of the top amateur golfers in the world before emerging onto the professional scene.

Lauren's hobbies include shopping, hiking, fishing, traveling and spending time with family.

"I was really pleased to cap my season with a nice finish at the Pelican Women's Championship today. Due to Hurricane Nicole, play was cancelled on Thursday, and the event was shortened to 54-holes. I had a great round on Friday and was happy about how I performed on the back-nine all three rounds. Despite the winds posing a challenge for us all, it was a great week and a great way to end another year on Tour. I'm so blessed to have completed my fourth year on the LPGA Tour, and to have the best team around me. I couldn't do this without my partners, and I'm grateful for everyone at Carlisle and their support both on and off the course. I'm growing in confidence and cannot wait to see what I'll accomplish next season. During this off season, I'm looking forward to working on my game and taking a lot of time to rest and enjoy family. I hope to see you all soon, and I'll be sure to keep you posted on how I'm spending my time off! Happy Holidays to everyone at Carlisle."
